First of all, who says the land belongs to the Arabs. If you believe the Old Testament, you will find that God made a covenant with Abraham, father of the Jews, and gave the Jews that land, not the Arabs. The Arabs are a mixture of many races at this point and though God made promises to them because of their joint father, Abraham, the land was not one of them. Isaac was the child of promise and not Ishmael who though being the first child, was born out of disobedience. God loves the decendants of Ishmael but Isaac is the chosen son. I know that the Arabs like to say that is untrue and that the Jews wrote the scriptures in a biased way but that is just what they want to believe. The Arabs have said over and over again, it is not just the land they want, their MAIN goal is to obliterate the Jews totally and I read the end of the book, won't happen.

In answer to your question, I think Israel will go by its conscience and do what it has to do even if aid was cut off. And I truly believe if the US abandons Israel, we will suffer the consequences.

SusieDarling is right. And it does say that the Jews are the chosen people. Although I can not say exactly where, but of course they recived the Torah from God. Also it is not the Arabs land, if u reaserch you will find that there was a mass migration of Arabs to Israel in the early 20th century. (Please dont use the crappy Wikipedia website, people can edit that at their own will) look up the massacre in the holy city of Hebron, where the cave of the patriarchs is built. Where the muslims built a mosque over the Jews second holiest site. The arabs also massacerd 67 Jews in Hebron, and drove the rest out. So why would Britain give Jews passports to Israel for Jews, if it was the Arab land? Becuase it was always a Jewish nation, and always will be. The Muslims are hell bent on destroying the Jews not becuase we supposdily took their land, but because we didnt accept the ways of Mohammed. Thats is why they hate us.

The main reason why the USA is supporting Israel is not because of the Jewish votes,it is because Israel is only very democratic country in the Reagan and they are a very strong ally to the USA,and the fact is that all those people who hate Israel, hate the USA,because they cant take other religions besides Islam.

The US will never do this, they government is completely heartless. And in response to the second answer, it only says in the Bible that the chosen people will get the land, it doesn't say Jews are the chosen people. Your answer is just interpretation, does not exist in the Bible.

Honestly I think cutting off aid to the entire region is the only way to get all sides to sit at the table.

The US will always stick by Israel, because of the Jewish vote in the States.
