Because Americans like everything sugar-coated happy fun. Besides it's hard to stand up to an Establishment that caters to the lowest common denominator- telling everyone were doing the right thing because they believe America is infallible. Some Republicans believe their president (certainly not mine) is not a rich stupid pig pissing on the Bill of Rights and the Constitution and America in general, because they are in power and believe that nobody can see through their lies. Impeach Bush and throw Cheney in jail is what is needed to do. Oh and all you Cons out there who are blasting Liberals...please do us a favor and spread your lies some place else. I can't respect a man who has been quoted as calling the Constitution "That damned piece of paper". Of course it's not like the liberals have a better plan, hell we don't even know what plan they have, since most don't have the balls to stand up and say anything except "boo repulicans, yeah democrats".Their all a bunch of manipulating pompous morons who just want to control everybody else. Screw 'em both. And I am a liberal, I just know how to think for myself.

Factories close as a matter of economic life. It's called liberty. Liberty to make a living and liberty to fail. Factories come, Factories go.
More jobs have been created than lost so I don't understand how you came up with that bit of nonsense.
Our immigration problems started with the Democrats. Not the Republicans. It started because the Democrats want more Hispanics to be in America so they can vote for Democrats. So they made no effort to keep them out. In fact in California the Democrats had a massive voter registration drive dedicated to getting illegals into this country and registered as Democrats. I admit the Republicans are cowards. They can't find the nerve to fight the illegals but that's today. The Democrats have been the driving force for bringing illegals to this country for 50 years.
On the positive side. The economy is at its highest point ever. There are more jobs being created everyday. The tax cuts allow Americans to keep more of their own money and the Americans have responded by pushing the economy to its highest point ever. Oh and we have gathered more taxes than ever before!
Repeat after me: "Higher Tax Rates means less economic life."
Lower Tax rates means more economic life and more tax revenues. Even JFK knew it and practiced it.
So you evidence is a little BOGUS! Try to get your facts straight before wandering out into traffic. You might get run over!

people who are sheeple who don't want to face reality. If only a tenth of a percent of the population (one in a thousand people)
stands up against the lies and media manipulations and the republican owned media and resurected cointelpro, and most everybody else just sorta goes along with it or whateva, that doesn't mean that nobody is saying anything just that few people

come on are you serious. Factories close all the time its called a business cycle jobs too and problems come up all the time its called life if you havent experienced it. Your not going to tell me that there werent any problems when democrats controlled the presidency.

how about the recpublicans (except schwarzenneger who just approved 150 million in funding) that are putting a stop to stem cell research that could cure so many debilitating diseases.

Lots of people are talking about it, but what can be done?
Republicans pander to those who vote only on BS 'moral values' and who don't pay attention to actual effects of policy. Therefore they don't actually need policy to get reelected.
Take right now, for example. Name a policy of the right. You can't. They stand for nothing.

We started losing the jobs after Clinton passed NAFTA. Immigration has always been a problem.
