i have told my friend that i would join her on a church related hike, after she talked me into it i said yes and have now decided that i dont want to go because of the reason for the hike. we are different religions and i dont feel the need to go with her. please help me to tell her that i dont want to go anymore.

I dont believe the reason for the hike is to pick out religions,its for the expeirence and if shes asked you to join her im sure she just wants you to be there so the 2 of you can have a good day,if she was concered about you fitting in she would have asked about your religion.
I think you should talk to her and be honest and if you still dont feel comfortable then dont go. One rule of i think all religions is not to judge b/c that is gods duty. Well hopefully that helped.

just say no. not that hard. just because of the diferent religions, make sure she doesn't think it's her.
