No, Israel is not distinguishable from any other terrorist group. In fact, Israel is worst than some of them.
The only difference is that Israel is publicly supposrted by the US. Other "terrorist organizations" are either condemned by the US in public and/or backed by the US secretly.
Remember, one man's terrorist IS another man's martyr.

So, let me get this straight... are you saying that it IS legitimate to:
...shoot rockets at another country, kill their people and not expect any kind of retaliation?
...send people wearing explosive vests in to markets, buses and restaurants, killing innocent men women and children, and not expect any retaliation?
If the Palestinians had gotten rid of Arafat years ago, they would probably have had peace by now and the Palestinians would have been living better off. But instead, his widow is a multimillionaire because of the money he embezzled from the Palestinians.
If the Palestinians would get rid of Hamas they WOULD be getting the foreign aid that they are NOT getting now due to their government being run by a terrorist organization.
What we NEED is peace in the middle east, which won't happen as long as Hamas is in charge of the Palestinian government and while the Lebanese government allows Hezbollah to attack Israel from Lebanon.
Don't throw rocks at a wasp nest and then complain when you get stung. Intelligent people would have quit throwing rocks by now.

No but they do have crazy people getting on buses and bombing them. They have people kidnapping their solders that have to be at road blocks to try and keep out the crazies that attack their citizens. If they didn't have to do this, they wouldn't. In 1972 their Olympic team didn't have to go to Germany and they most certainly thought they would be safe, but they died by crazies. I'm not saying Israel is always right, for that matter I am not saying that the U.S. is either, but until others stop attacking the U.S. or Israel, watch out cause they will fight back.

They are different in that they were attacked first plain and simple...they continue to be attacked by rockets every day...If england started shooting rockets to france would france not attack england??? Israel provides a lot of technology(military, medicine etc.) to the US so it is in the US's interest to support Israel...Their Army name is the IDF(Israel DEFENSE Force) they are not an attacking army. They gave land to palestine and then get attacked by them
