All-around performance, I'd say Honda Civic Sedan (or 4 dr Si) or the Mazda 3 GT.
Cobalt is okay, but it is not in the same league engineering wise or in terms of holding it's value.

if your looking for performance sentra spec v is a hunk of crap i smoked it with my non turbo 3000gt that was 12 years old.... if your gonna spend 22 grand think about a dodge srt4 which has about 230hp 4 door or subaru wrx has some good hp with 4 doors ... i bought a bmw 525i which has 4 doors loaded 10 way power heated seats loaded and its got the power to back it a lil over 200 hp and i bought it for 3000 dollars maybe u should get something used

how much does the impala ss cost?? i would think that would be one of the best because it has the v8 when you need power and a 4 cylinder for gas mileage. it may cost more though
