if I was a lady and was being abused I would beat his @ss with a bat in his sleep, every time he hit me I would hit back. violence = violence. And if he believes you can whoop him then he will never hit again.
I was picked on when I was a kid this guy hit me called me names , so one day I bet the living crap out of him, and it never happened again. At the end of the day I even apologized to him. But he respected me after that. sometimes its what you have to do. Its not the right thing to do, but they will respect you after that.

I don't know where you get your numbers, but they are wildly inaccurate. First, do the math on the percentage of male/female victims. 73% + 15% = 88%. If the other 12% aren't male or female, hermaphrodites must face enormous risk of abuse.
The numbers on $$ lost, workdays and medical expenses are also... well, completely ridiculous.

People like you who quote "numbers" out of the air do a disservice to the cause they espouse. You're listening to something called "yellow journalism", then repeating it. Rational men do not respond to a lie.

Put 73% of women in convents
Put 15% of males in seminaries
buy 8.8 million tiny blindfolds
(how do you get a figure on "unreported incidents?)
oh never mind the rest, stop thinking you can change statistics and start working to change society.
