Yes I would turn them in. This is cheating and we are all paying for it. When money goes out to support those less fortunate, then I don't mind helping, it when I know someone is getting more than they deserve and taking it away from someone else you really needs it, I HAVE A PROBLEM! As far as the kids, I don't think they would be taken away for that, she hasn't abused them. She would have to pay restitution for the money she got under false pretenses. Do you want to keep paying out for this type of person?

unless shes living a life of luxury don't turn her in as kids are so expensive and i know. that little bit of extra cash pays for a holiday for the kids as I'm sure shes not getting much extra by saying shes not married. however if shes taking the p*ss and they have all the latest gadgets and its obvious theyre loaded, then give her a chance to stop, either if you know her well tell her you think someone is on to her and tell her to stop or send her an anonymous letter saying if you dont stop i will have no choice but to turn you in.

I would not.
While you may see it as the right thing to do, look who you think you are helping. Ultimately the biggest thief of them all.
This person may have issues you cannot see which lead them down thier path.
I would say you turning them in would be extreme, and unnessicary, and only hurt both of you.
"Lies about everything"...So that makes you police, judge and juror?
There are social workers assigned to her.... And theyre employed because she collects welfare.

As long as I could be sure that my motive was from charity and a desire for justice, I might consider turning her in. On the other hand, if you are motivated by jealousy or some other vice (such as wrath), turning her in could be deeply harmful to your soul, and you would be better off forgiving her and getting to the root of your own sin.
Have you confronted her? Have you and a mutual friend confronted her? Will you orphan her kids by turning her in? Will they be better or worse off as orphans?

Don't do it! i wouldn't do it, it just isn't the done thing to tell on folk around you, i wouldn't do it, i used to be on welfare and i used to abuse the system, i no longer do now as I'm now in a well paid job and have no real need to abuse the system anymore so ceased my welfare. Yes without abusing the welfare system i felt like a weight had been lifted from my shoulders. Looking back if somebody had grassed me up me and children would have been devastated, the thought horrifies me. don't tell on her, don't lower your self, think of her kids too, please. x

She needs to be turned in. What she's doing is a crime and is unfair to those who need the benefits and can't get them. The kids will be better off once their mother starts to set an example.

Yes I would turn them in if they relay are abusing the system. If she is abusing the system and has kinds, it would do the kids good to see their mom get busted for lying and abusing the system. Maybe they will think twice about trying it in the future.

your right soooo many people lie to get money from the government. I don't like when people like this get away with this when us hard working individuals, work 1,2,3 jobs just to survive.
I would think that it would be the best thing to turn this person in. It can be anonomous. The social worker or person in charge of her case will be notified.

Let her deal with it because the children might suffer! Sooner or later they will find out! If she is not taking good care of the children then you should turn her in!!! Maybe it would be best if you did not spend very much time with her!!

YOu gotta look at it this way. The abuse of the system is what has prompted the crack down. Consequently others deserving help are left out. Who caused this condition? Then do something about it.
