Bleeding after sex is in indicator for many things. Sometimes there is a condition called a friable cervix which causes this. A normal pap doesn't always mean that they got the area affected by say HPV. I am glad you are doing the right thing and have made an appointment. Make sure you get a second opinion on your pap smear from 6 months ago.. sometimes the cytologist that reads that pap reads it as normal when in fact was not. If you have ever had an abnormal pap due to HPV, please double check everything every single time. People with HPV are much much more likely to end up with cervical cancer, and sometimes they too can have normal papsmears. I say this not to worry you, but to keep you informed. It is your right to request a second opinion, or a second evaluation. It is not normal to bleed every time after sex. Good luck to you.

Bleeding after intercourse or douching
Vaginal bleeding after intercourse or douching can have many causes, including:
Infection, such as cervicitis, pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), or sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).
Injury to the genital area.
Structural problems, such as cervical polyps or uterine fibroids.
Changes that occur to the lining of the vagina after menopause.
Cancer of the cervix or uterus.
Vaginal douching may increase your risk of PID. Douching may change the acidity of the vagina and promote the growth of bacteria, or it may push bacteria from the vagina into the uterus. Avoid douching to lower your risk of getting PID.
If you have vaginal bleeding after intercourse or douching and you are certain you are not having your menstrual period, do not have sexual intercourse or douche until you see your health professional. This will reduce the risk of spreading a possible infection. Do not use tampons, because they may increase the risk of injury.

It's hard to say really.
Your doctor is the one who can best advise you.
Some possibilities could be infection, PID, hormonal imbalances, etc.
Sometimes, it just happens too.
Hopefully, the bleeding episode was limited, and is not continuing. If it is, be sure and keep track of how many pads you go through, the color, presence of clots, etc so you can better inform your doctor.

I think that you might need a personal lubricant..you could have fibroids(tumor like-non dangerous really)inside. I would definantly go to a doctor. I have heard of this happening if the male is large-but most males are not as large as they think. it does sound like to me maybe there could be a lubrication problem and your being rubbed raw(no pun intended).

I am glad you are being checked out. I had the same problem and it was caused by a cyst on my cervix.

You could have an infection, or possible a tear in the lining...either way, you should see a ob/gyn.
