Feng Shui is what you are talking about. I have a link for you to check out. The radio station I listen to was talking about it. It's pretty interesting. I've done some of this stuff to my own bedroom and to my house. I do know that the house and bedroom feel better now. Comfortable, like everything is where it is supposed to be. Anyway, hope you can catch some Zzzz's soon. If Feng Shui'ing your room doesn't help, try taking a Tylenol PM or a Benedryl to help you fall asleep.

As someone who also worked nights for years I can tell point blank that feng shui (?) is irrelevant to a good night's kip. What you really need is a natural chemical called "gaba", ie gamma amino butyric acid.
Solgar sell it so you might be able to get from a health food shop. Body builders also use sometimes. Anyway take this on an empty stomach and hey presto, you will sleep like a baby - promise! It never failed for me!!

I done alternate days/nights shifts for the last 16 years and my bed could be strung upside down from the ceiling and I'd still sleep.
Only two things I could suggest are:
You haven't done a good days work to make you tired
or
Underlying problem.... i.e. something you may be (subconciously) worried about, and need to sort out.
As a last resort see your doctor as not being able to sleep is definately bad for you.
