I wouldn't say he's sad. He's aboput average. Everyone gets gets the blues sometimes. I think he just wites the Cure's music during those periods, and when he's content, doesn;t really bother writing because he has nothing to say.

No Freddie Mercury is a sad, sad, dead man.. Well he died at 46. I don't call that old. He was born Sept. 5Th 1946. He died of aids Nov. 24Th 1991. No he died at age 45. He was in his prime.
I don't know about this Robert smith you speak of.
