I was wondering how you build up your maximum encumbrance. My cousin was playing and i saw that his maximum encumbrance was 275. I asked him how he did it and he wasn't sure how he did this. If mine was that high, i could carry like like 3 more good weapons. (mine right now is 200).

Your strength stats directly affect the amount you can carry. If you don't want to level in strength, find a spell or brew potions that fortify strength--your maximum carrying capacity will go up. If you have access to the Chironasium or Office of the Archmage you can enchant a ring or other item with fortify strength, which will increase your strength without needing recastings or more ingredients. The other option is to purchase a good Feather spell, brew Feather potions, or enchant something with Feather--the spell increases the amount you can carry.

You need to figure out a way to make tons of money so you can afford training and level up. Then you can choose to upgrade your strength skill. Here's a website that can tell you were to find the good stuff which you can sell to get training.

Your cousin is a liar and knows the answer, I suggest you beat him until he tells you how to get a maximum encumberance.
