My boss (and friend for years) are crazy about each other. I have posted this question before and got flamed, but I can't help it.
He's older, 56 and I'm 38. I'm wildly attracted to him physically and mentally. He feels the same.

WHY NOT?!?!? I'm going nuts here and NO I'm not quitting my job so don't advise it.

OK, if you think it's right, then go for it. I wouldn't let people flame you (or take the flaming seriously). Having said that, be prepared for some crap at work though, especially where he's your boss, and be prepared that you may not be given a choice about keeping your job. HIS bosses may not be kosher with his being involved with a subordinate at all either, most companies do have policies against it, for many reasons, legal ramifications being only 1of many. Just be prepared for the potential for fallout once your relationship with each other is known publicly, but if you love this man as you say you do, then it won't matter. Best of luck to you!

Fine...and once the romance fizzles out, you'll be posting another question in here asking the whole world WHY you were so stupid.

Also, aren't you guys both married? Sex will be great at first but I warn you, in a few months, one of you will get caught or lose interest...these forbidden sexual relationships have a shelf life of about six months.

And no, you shouldn't quit your job, you should get someone to check your head.

I see no reason why you should not give it a try just be careful and I hope he is not married because that would make my response entirely incorrect. You are a grown woman and not 15 so I say if you think he is hot then go for it... I would like to see how this one goes.... Keep us posted and I hope I hear a sappy romantic love story come of it....... ~ Best wishes to you both~ And again, I hope he is not married..... ♥

I don't see a problem. If one of you were married, then there would be trouble. But honey, if it's the age difference, not worry abut it. My friend married a man who's 25 years old than she is, and is enjoying very minute of her life now. He treats like a queen, and she adores him. Please don't let a chance for true love pass you by because of age. Cathy says he's a sex machine, and wished she had met him years ago. Make the move, and enjoy! God bless....

Go for it. Life love and passion always comes before work. Worst thing is you get another job.

At my office, over 25% of the employees are in relationships. Do what makes you happy.

If your looking for permission to f*ck your boss, you dont need it. Your an adult. Screw him and get it over with. You may find he isnt as good as you thought he was. The fact is no matter what anyone says here, your going to do what you want to do anyway.

If he is MARRIED, than you are Crazy!!!!!
Don't you know that with any relationship, the burning desire never last? That emotional high doesnt go on and on? It dies down some time or another.?
