Driving regulations differ from state to state, so the final word on this question would be determined by your state statutes.
Side mirrors are considered auto safety features, because they help the driver know what's going on around them. For obvious reasons, most (if not all!) states have specific statutes that mandate that cars be equipped with operable standard safety features.
You'll need to check your local laws for the definitive answer to this question, but my guess it that your state (wherever it is) requires driver side mirrors. The penalty for driving without mandated safety equipment is a citation for an unsafe vehicle. Again, the penalties for this infraction will vary from state to state.

MoT rules require: For a vehicle made pre 1/8/78 an exterior mirror or interior mirror. Post 1/8/78 an exterior mirror on the offside plus either/or an interior mirror or an exterior mirror on the nearside. So, assuming your car is later than '78, you do need the offside wing mirror I'm afraid.

Illegal to not have a driver's side mirror. Passenger side is optional.

Depends on the state. Most states have their vehicle code online these days, so you can search for the answer there.
(Sorry, I'm not going to research 50 states for you. Heck, for all we know you might not even be talking about US regulations!)
(And AnswerBot, some antiques aren't REQUIRED to have seatbelts, but it's still a good idea, and most clubs do NOT deduct points if you have neatly installed belts on your classic.)

Yes most definitely passenger you can get away without one but driver side OMG yes its a must. GO BUY ONE. Before you get a ticket.

No actually. It depends on the vehicle manufacture date. If the car is really an antique it doesn't have to have all sorts of things, like even seat belts, or windshields!

I live in Canada, and it is illegal, in all the providences. I am
not shore about US I would imagine every state would be different.
