As someone who teaches both classroom and online classes, let me say that online learning requires you to do a more reading, possibly participate in discussions, visit some websites, test online, or even do some live chat.

The biggest difference is that you're alone! There's no personal interaction other than email or messages typed back and forth. And in some classes, all you get is the material to read and that's all.

Without others present, your level of motivation and dedication to logging in has to be greater. And you may have to get used to things being more boring because there's no physical interaction.

Its all about time management and motivation. Manage your time so that you can get the necessary reading done. Help your motivation by taking short breaks frequently and minimising distractions.
