No less than 78 degrees. They prefer their temps in the 70s, and by keeping the temp at around 78 degrees, you are less likely to infect your tank with certain bacterias and fungi.

Also, the nitrogen cycle is more efficient at around 78 degrees.

It should be aroung 23C_25C for guppies & mostly other tropical fish. But when U put them into this new tank, U have to control the fish in a small plastic bag with the ordinary water (not the water in the new tank) from the old tank. The fish need a period of experimenting the new environment & new temperature. It's best if U do that 'coz otherwise Ur fish may get sick.

Your tank after being set up should be enmpty the first few days until u reach a comfortable temperature of 72 to 75 and then when adding your fish make sure u put the plastic bag they come in inside the tank and let them float around in there for a few moments in their own bag (each in seperate bag) and let them out one at a time by opening the plastic bag in ;the tank cuz it should just have a rubber band around the top and there ya go but do keep an i on em and make sure u know ur aggressive fish from ur non agressive fish before hand ok? then u should be fine!

Well, somewhere between 70-78 I would think. I have two tanks, but I don't even touch my thermometer, and everyone is just fine!
