I'm a gay bear admirer, and can't stand stereotypes at all.
I'm pretty sure most people are -normal-, just like normal people you talk to, the way they talk shouldn't have anything to do with their sexuality.
I say most because unfortunatly some groups of gay people believe the stereotype 100% and are all "fabulous" and love shopping.
I'm gay I NEVER liked shopping. Ever.

I was raised to try to love everyone as they are. A persons sexuality doesn't make them a bad person. My parents use to hang out at gay bars and had TONS of gay friends. I was exposed to people with alternative lifestyles my whole life... that's why I'm so accepting I think. Now don't get me wrong, It wasn't like my mom and dad had big gay orgies or anything, but as you get older you realize that the "normal" couple is one male and one female. You start to question it when your aunt has a girl that she holds hands with and kisses. Now that I am an adult I realize that things that are labeled "normal" aren't always what makes someone happy. If you love someone and they love you who cares what sex they are... have fun, be one, and enjoy life. I have gay friends now and I would defend them to the end. I even broke it off with a boyfriend because he called my friend horrible names. I wont tolerate name calling or bashing. Look deeper then their sexuality and see the PERSON. If you don't you could be missing out on someone GREAT!

I think that gay people are like everyone else. We are all PEOPLE, plain and simple. We all choose different ways to live, and there should be nothing wrong with that at all.
To address the "stereotype" that all gay men are hotties and all gay women are gorgeous and that all every gay person wants is sex is ABSOLUTELY REDICULOUS. Every person in general wants to be loved and to love in return. We all want different things. Being gay or straight has nothing to do with it. We are all God's creatures and we are all loved by a higher power.

I dont believe there is a stereotype image, and I dont care. What pisses Me off is that a lot of straight guys like Me are being called ******* behind Our backs if We do anything that might be considered not macho. Do gay people ever stop to think that They are making straight people very uncomfortable.

You mean how do I see myself? Well, I see a 40 year old white guy, with a little bit of a spare tire, who's also been in a great relationship for nearly 10 years. And people I haven't come out to are always curious about why I don't have a girlfriend!

With broadmindedness. Being gay is a preference. I believe every human seeks to be accepted, loved, wanted, desired, and approved of in some fashion; not only for sex.

I don't have a sexy body or anything like that. I can definately argue against the sterotype image of homosexuals lol. I'm not just looking for sex personally. i'd love to have someone just to have and to hold, to love and love me. to hold hands and go places together.

I see gay people as the same as non-gay people. They have a certain percentage of flamboyant people, hardbodies, sex cravers. That's not really any different than the hetero people.
