Me and my best friend aren't talking to each other anymore. She recently moved away and I called her one day and told her I missed her. She started saying some mean things to me for no reason and told me I needed to find a new best friend. I don't know why she did this cuz I didn't say anything to make her mad. I hung up on her cuz I was so upset and cried all afternoon. She was the only one I could talk to when I felt bad and now I don't have anyone. I have a lot of close friends, but do you think I should find a new best friend, or just not have any at all?

I have a new best friend after I moved away and more to the point after mum passed away. I Have not heard from her I have tried to phone her she must have gotten a new number as that is not her number any more. I always thought it was mum that kept the friendship alive. I now have a new friend that lives near me. I can talk to her about any thing and know that it will stay there. she is a wonderful person. She is my only friend but still miss my old friend and think of her from time to time. I have also tried the old snail mail but no reply. I am sure there will be somebody that you will meet out of the blue and become good friends if not best friends Good luck

I had that same problem, I broke up with my best friend in March, she wasn't the type of person anymore that I wanted to hang out with. She was mean and very rude at times Some people are just mean like that, you know, there are people out there wish they had someone to care about them and miss them, like MYSELF!! Its always good to have a best friend and you should have one if you really want. Like I said there are a lot of people longing for person to talk too and be there for.

I think it's good to have a best friend. Someone that you can tell any and everything too. She probably misses you just as bad, just because you live farther away, doesn't mean that you can't be friends. I think you should try to resolve these issues with your friend

You can't really "find" a best friend...they usually find you. The whole point of a best friend is someone you can talk to, someone who knows you best and someone who is always there for you. If you have another friend that is like that, then you already have a best friend. If not, don't fret about it. You'll find another friend like that soon enough.

Just let your life flow. You'll never find a new best friend by hunting for one. But keep yourself open to options. Find people of similar interests to hang around.

to me a "best friend" is someone i can talk to about anything in the entire world and who accepts me and all my weirdness.
not too many of those people around... but i've got a couple. i wouldn't be worried about not having A BEST FRIEND but... i mean they can be handy and stuff... i love my friends sooo much and i need them cause i need to talk to them and stuff (otherwise i'd go insane) but... i mean friends come and go, so ya gotta move on if she's done.

I think many good friends come and go.. and when they go they stop being friends, for some reason.. sometimes is better to have a close friend than a distant brother...

WEll I dont have a best fried just as long as you have other people to talk to you don't have to call them your best friend, I don't have a best friend because friendds change all the time my bf is my best friend

i'm assuming someone been talking bad behind your back...
did you ask her why she's acting this way?
to be honest its hard to look for real friend this time so if you have one and you think she's been so very good to you. you should treasure her.
try to talk to her...tell her you dont wanna lost her friendship esp if you dont even know the real reason why she's acting this way..
