The ideal age for marriage would have to be between 25 and 30. Because that is when a person should be done with schooling and getting into their career. If you plan to have children, it is good to have the schooling out of the way and a career established so that the financial burdens that come with marriage and children are lessened. In this day and age, young adults think they are maturing younger but in reality they are more irresponsible now than ever before. For some people 25 is too young to get married, it's all based on an individuals level of personal responsibility and stability.

It is never too late to get married. Some people take longer to find the right person. Others have been divorced and widowed and can find someone new to spend their life with.

There is no ideal age. And there is no age that is too late. I don't think that people should get married really young like 16. Because they really don't have any life experience. But nationally most people marry between 21 to 35. I believe that people should marry when they have found true love. And are ready.

If they are both Catholic, I think 16 for a girl and 18 for a boy are just fine as long as they are very mature and committed to spending the rest of their lives trying to make each other happy and loved. I say Catholic because true Catholics understand what marriage is for and know that divorce is not an option. They are committed to raising a family for God and will love Him first which is the requirement for a happy marriage. They will also received a great grace to endure each other's faults when married in the Church. :)

It is usually the older crowd who get the most divorces because they are both so set in their ways and unwilling to adapt to make the other happy.

The later the better. Marriage is extremely difficult long-term, and it takes two very mature people to make it work.
