Ahhh. You have come across one of the greatest ironies in the belief of an afterlife.
Well done.

Yes. Always.
My grandmother died(flatlined) for 6 minutes in the hospital.
When they brought her back she told us all about it. She had never attended church in her life. She didn't beleive in it but after THAT experience she said as soon as she got out of the hospital, she was going to attend church.
She also described angels in detail.
A week later she died forever but we know now that heaven & God truly exist.
I am an RN. I see patients die and we revive them all the time.
85% of them say they saw all their deceased loved ones and God.
Everyone who works in a hospital, will tell you that.
What makes it SO believable is, their stories are not identical AND the most AMAZING thing, is THIS:
My grandmother, while clinicly dead, watched & listened to my mother and a doctor talking down the hall, far away from where SHE(her body) was and told my mother and me, word for word, what they had said. My mother and the doctor told me, SHE WAS RIGHT! Word for word. She was dead at the time.
Too MANY patients, have done this very thing. If a family member is anywhere in the hospital, when they flatline, they can see and hear EVERYTHING their relative said and did, at the time durring their breif death.
As doctors and nurses, we cannot ignore that.
It just happens Too many times to be ignored.

We have had people with near death expanses, both good and bad ones. Some saw, as they saw the bright lights, heard music, and felt like they were in a warm a loving place, which would be called Heaven by most. While others said, they saw the exact opposite, darkness, fire, horrify screams and violence, which would be Hell and many of them had called it the same thing. In fact that experience made them want to change the kind of person they were.

Because when you die, you don't immediately get thrust off to the next life, or the next existence. Sometimes, peoples spirits or souls linger around for a while due to fear, or unfinished business, or because they are not meant to die just then.
They don't get to see the end result of death until they are actually, finally, dead and then when they return, some time later, they generally don't remember anything of past lives, or the times in between.

The question you have to ask is, "If people come back from the dead, why to they ALWAYS say they went to heaven?"
Either way... I'm pretty sure that God's not going to greet every one.. She's a busy woman.

Active memory shuts off when a person is dead so there is no way they would remember anything anyway.
