when you get them pierced it feels like a pinch, so in my opinion it didn't hurt that much... or on a scale of 1-10 (1 being it didn't hurt at all and 10 being i cant take it anymore) it was a 4.
after your ears might get red, so after an our or so the pain starts to kick in. Make sure you clean your ears regularly or your ears might get infected and close up.
your lucky you arent getting them pierced by a needle at age 2 because my cousins have had that done to them, So as long as it isnt by a needle it will be fine, Yes people are saying it will hurt with a needle going through your ear, but if it is done quick it will save you the pain. I consider myself lucky that i didnt have to have it done with a real needle, so its better to have a gun.

I've had my ears pierced twice - believe me, it doesn't hurt at all. Just pinch your ear for 3 seconds and you'll know how it feels. For 10 minutes afterwards I have to admit I felt a little dizzy, but it was totally worth it. The next couple of weeks it didn't hurt at all - I totally forgot I even got my ears pierced. If you take good care of your ears, the hole should last forever.

I got my ears pierced at four, then a nother hole at 14 then another at 18. It hurts for a brief second, they ARE putting a hole in your flesh. But there aren't nerves in that area so it's just the needle breaking through the skin, that hurts. After about three to fiv eminutes you'll forget all about it. Just keep it clean for the first month while it heals and you'll be good to go. But don't listen when they say it won't hurt, they're just trying to act hard, be prepared for a little pinch, like a shot from the doctor. **** luck!!

It pinches for a second. The thing that might hurt is if you don't take care of your ears after you have it done. You can get an infection if your not careful. Whoever pierces your ears will give you instructions on how to care for them.

No, it's not going to hurt much. It might sting a little at first, but nothing worse than that. I got my first holes when I was seven. It didn't even hurt me then. So don't worry about it. Also, once you get your piercings, be really careful about cleaning them. If you don't, they could get infected (it happened to me, so I started over when I was nine).

Do NOT go to Claire's or Wal-Mart. They do NOT clean there ear guns. Please get it done @ a tattoo shop. They are sanitary and professional. I have had my ears pierced twice and they always got infected. The last time my husband took me to a tattoo shop and I haven't had any problems in the year that they have been pierced.

it hurts. like somebody stabbed a big sharp needle through your ear really fast. then it aches for a few days/weeks. follow instructions, keep it clean, don't take earrings out until they're healed.
if you like them, go back for more! I have 2 lower ear piercings on each side and 2 cartilage (on the right side), and my nose (which hurt like a bee sting but healed super fast) and I love them!

of course it hurts ... it's a needle going through your ear. Come on ... if you really think that it's not going to hurt, ... you've been lied to. Worse if you have it done w/ a gun. However, it's very quick & you can wear earings ... forever, if you take care of the pearcings. You just gotta weigh the risk & reward.
