Cashel Crusader fly mask with nose cover.
Saratoga Horseworks Summer Scrim Turnout Sheet, or Oasis UV reflect sheet.
Ultrashield Flyspray and Flysect Super-7 Flyspray have sunscreens in them.
Evening or night turnout would be best, as it's not just the sun that you should worry about, it's also the mid-day heat!

there are a few options. I would turn her out at night and keep her in a well ventilated barn during the day or in a well shaded pasture. i was leary of turning my horse out at night at first but everything turned out fine. Secure the pasture with padlocks on the gates and keeping your fencing up to date and fixed at all times. If you dont want to do that, try putting on her sunblock about a half an hour before turning her out so that it does soak in better. Use a water proof sunblock so it wont come off in the dew or when she drinks. Use the sunblock in conjunction with her mask. If nothing works, call your vet and see if he has any other suggestions.

I appreciate your concern for your baby. They are going to get sun, can't stop it, but you can stop burn. You can get the very light weight sheet that blocks the burning rays, and keep on with what your doing. You don't mention if there's a lean-to she can get under. Most horses I know will go to shade, or inside if there's a loose barn to keep out of the sun, but also to get away from the flies.

Try a different horsey sunscreen. I don't blame you for not wanting to keep her out at night, I certainly don't like keeping my horse out at night. As for the fly mask, get one that covers her muzzle, face, and ears.
Good Luck!
