do u mean hard working? i would say if you are doing all you can, using all your resources, brain power, to finish a job, regardless of your outcome, people will respect/admire/validate that you are hard-working. for example, when i worked @ a dept store jewelry department, it was fairly new and no one really knew how to do things efficiently. even though i took soo long to do things, and was forgetful (cuz it was stressful, too many customers at once, etc), or i would make mistakes, later on a manager told me i was one of the only employees she *trusted* to do a good job. turned out some others were extemely careless, and did bare minimum, and were stealing etc!!! so even tho my results were not always perfect, my work ethic Showed them that they could depend on me to do my best, which shows a lot about your character and personality. that is EXTREMELY important, i've realized thru experience, especially in a work environment. even if people don't respect u as a person, they are forced to respect your determination and what you can contribute/produce within your means.

*if u mean work that is hard, i would say anything that is not done easily w/ little brain power or physical labor. :)

Any thing that is strenuous. For some people this only means physical and others include any kind of difficult and time consuming work. Anything that could hurt after awhile.

Successfully completing a task responsibly, in a focused manner. A job well done. The kind of task that, once completed, you feel like you worked WAY too hard for it, but still feel good about it.

Hardwork is anything you really do not want to do. If you are excited about it, loving it, nothing is hardwork.

Hard work is something that takes effort, time, and sacrifice. Hard work is getting up and doing something. It could be something strenuous or simply something that just requires your time.
