Why can't I just people to accecpt me for who I am? Not that I really care what they think but still...I can't even get other Goths to like me. I would prefer to hear from actucal Goths, which have been for about 2 years now, it's not like I'm a ******* new Goth who just crossed over from like Prep or Jock just to act cool...that pisses me off when people do that. There was one quote said by Rosane that I like "I'm really good at judging people, that's why they all suck."

And for you other assholes whe think Goths are gay I have something to tell you "If you dno't like Us. don't talk (or write about) Us, why should you waste your Time getting all rieled up about some people who don't give a **** what you think?"

You know what the only information I can give you is to not worry about it and carry on. People will always judge you. When people look at you they are reminded that life isn't all sparkles roses and rainbows. People have a hard time dealing with the reality of the world. You remind them of the darker side of life that they are just not willing to accept.

Twelve years ago when I was in high school I looked real similar to what todays goths look like. I caught he** for it. It's real easy to say don't let it get to you because sometimes it does and you can't help it. Today I'm as "normal" as I can be. I still have my tatoos (which people judge) and I still have my same attitude. People still judge me. They always will.

Carry on with your life and be sucessful at what you do. Sucess is always the very best revenge.

Good luck and stay true to yourself.

Okay be goth if you want to. Just realize not every one is going to like you. Who are you trying to make accept you? You sound a little cynical all ready so why are you not like by the by the goths? Will you feel better if I said I accept you as a goth, even though I am not. And I am willing to give you my respect if you turn out to be an OK human being, and not a total jerk?

I was a goth, but I'm not anymore. You deserve to be treated like a person no matter what. I found out that a lot of goths are just as stuck up and cliquish as any prep. There is nothing wrong with being goth, but there is also nothing wrong with having friends who aren't. Broaden your horizons, don't judge others, keep an open mind, and you'll find some people. I found mine at church, (www.upci.org) but, judging by your screen name, you may want to try the Unitarians, they accept any religion and any belief. :)

Sounds like you need a good woman. You seem a little frustrated with things. If no goths like you for who you are, don't be goth. Find a cliche that will accept you, or get a girlfriend. You would be surprised at how quickly they will change you. Or just be yourself and if nobody will respect that, move on.

You don't need to use a label like "goth", "prep" or "jock" to define who you are.
In a couple of years, you'll realize that nobody in the real world really gives a sh*t about your "style" and the little highschool battles that you might have with other groups of retarded, media-brainwashed, corporate self-serving teenyboopers.

Nobody really cares if you are goth, or gangsta, or prep or whatever. If you need to label yourself and conform to corporate-sponsored societal norms to be happy, you are a mediocre.
Wake up and smell the coffee. Trends and labels are irrelevant.

When you accept yourself, others will accept you. The only reason they wouldn't is if they are completely opposed to your manner, your dress, your speech, etc. But if you are having trouble getting other Goths to like you, the problem is that you're trying to GET them to like you. They pick up on that insecurity. We can't get other people to like us - they either do or they don't. But they really have no chance to even make up their mind on such things until you are being YOU. If you're constantly trying to be a certain way in order to get other people to like you, you really are not being authentically YOU. Give yourself some credit for having your own, your own likes and dislikes (for which you need make no apology) and your own tastes. It's ok to be authentic. And it's the only way you'll ever really find out who you are and the only way THEY will ever really find out who you are. It's a journey, but it starts with counting every good thing in you.

PLEASE change your screen name. And I hope you don't call yourself that offline as well. It is awful to let yourself be associated with the biggest loser of all, especially the evil one who hates all of mankind, even the ones who worship him. While you or others may think he's all about a party and power, let me tell you that he'd like nothing more than to see you split right down the middle on an altar of sacrifice to him. SATAN SUCKS, AND HIS NAME IS NO LONGER LUCIFER. BUT HE WAS THE BIGGEST IDIOT OF ALL TIME WHEN THAT WAS HIS NAME. So why would you want to ascribe such an association to yourself? He's been associated with every sorry thing that's ever happened to you. Satan is defeated. But God is AWESOME!; and talk about POWER!!
"But ye shall receive POWER after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you." ACTS 1:8

Jesus Christ truly is the answer. I was 30 years old when I surrendered to Him. I'm so thankful He waited for me!

Honestly? F*ck everyone else. Most people suck anyway. Just be who you are and if others don't like it, then they're idiots.. unless of course you're a JERK. But I'm guessing not. So just forget about those jerks and be you and if there's good people out there, they will come to you and respect you as the person you are.

stop judging and maybe others will stop judging you. live and let live, who cares what people are. just be what you like to be, and be happy with that. there are people that suck in every click, group, religion, culture, society. but in all those groups there are really awesome people too!
im thinking that people are digging you, not because of you being goth, but maybe just because your attitude sucks. so knock off the pisspoor attitude and maybe things will change for ya!

Stop being a goth. That's a dead end. Stop getting p*ssed off at people. That's another dead end. Stop quoting Rosanne. That's... well, you know. If you want people to like you, try liking them. Try being "nice" once in a while. Good luck.
