It all depends on how often this happens. This does fall under the boundaries of mental cruelty and abuse if this occurs often. Granted things happen that arent in our control and we often accidentally/unintentionally hurt the ones we love. But if this is a recurring thing, then theres a hidden problem in the relationship as to why he hurts you so often. Yes, love and time can conquer most things in a relationship if one or both are willing to seek help to fix the problem with the other standing by for love and support. Life is way too short to stay in an abusive relationship that has no chance for change. You deserve better, much better then him,so give him an ultimatum with a brief time period and if he shows no change, he never will, then it is time to move on and get a better life. Good luck in whatever you decide
