i was pulling out my contact,and scratched the bottom of my eye..

If the cornea is cut, it will take a while and in this case you need to wear a patch on your eye to keep it closed. Check with a specialist to make sure.
If it's just a light scratch, use plenty of saline to wash your eye and it should get better in a couple of days. Don't wear your lenses of course. How did you scratch your eye, with your nails or with the lens? Keep your nails short and if with the lens, your eyes must have been dry. Maybe you were your lenses too much.

my ex husband was a welder and after many trips to the er for scratched eyes, I learned that it only takes it a couple of days to heal back up. Be careful about going out into the sun, and don't look at any bright lights with that eye.

The eye heals faster then all organs except the tongue, your scratch should be better in a couple days

Eyes heal really fast. If you want to accelerate it though, try rinsing the eye in milk, and then using an eyewash (available over the counter in most grocery/drug stores) This worked for me when I needed to be able to wear contacts and did not want to sport my devilshly red eye for very long.

it takes about 3 days to heal, but it also depends how bad the scatch is.

it shouldn't take mre than 3 days, unless u get infected.
