Sure,...... wear a mustache (that is, if you're a guy) and pretend that you are his long lost Uncle Mack. You're over 18 so that rocks.

It largely depends on where you live and what the practices of the theatere are. Rated R is "Restricted, Under 17 Requires Accompanying Parent Or Adult Guardian."; some movie theaters, especially in smaller, conservative towns, literally interpret that to mean only a parent or legal guardian (a much older adult), of which a 19 year brother is not.
We were at Rave Motion Pictures at an R rated movie a few years ago they came in and checked IDs of anyone they suspected was underage after they were in the movie theater and seated and made anyone not over 17, or not able to prove it, leave, including two boys that were with an older brother.

Depends on the theater...some places if you are over 17 buying the ticket, then they will let you in (especially since he is 16 not 6)...but other places you must be the parent of the underage person to bring them to an R rated film. But you can probably bring him, most places only check ID when you purchase the tickets and since you are buying and over 17 you will most likely be fine.

You need to be 18 years of age or older to bring an underage minor to an R rated movie, and in some movie theaters, you hae to watch the movie with them.

I do believe you. I even have continually felt that each baby matures at there own point, for this reason at 15 if the baby is mature then they might watch an R rated action picture. whether i don't sense a 6 365 days previous or a ten 365 days previous is even on the threshold of be mature adequate to view those form of flicks, even with a make certain of mum or dad. great component! 14 does sound like a to blame age.

As long as there is someone over the age of 17 to buy the tickets then it is fine.
I find that most people selling the tickets could care less though and never even check. I don't know if that's jsut were I live or not.

Most theaters when you call say that no one under 17 will be admitted to R-rated movies unless accompanied by an adult. Hope that helps!

Last time I noticed you only had to be 18 to bring someone in that was not 18. It may have changed....call the theater.

The person who buys the tickets has to be over 18. So yes, you would be able to take him.
