I need help comign up with a theme for an outdoors, poolside bar named "IMAGINE". When i say themes is for example; tropical, oceanic. things like that. It should be something very attractive to clients.

Well, just from the name of your Bar, why not take the John Lennon song as a theme. For example, I remember in Strawberry Feilds in Central Park in NYC, there is a mosaic in the sidewalk inspired by Imagine. Maybe you could copy that in the concrete by the pool.

By using "Imagine" as the name of the bar, I think it's more easy use oceanic as it's theme. I mean, that some stuff from oceanic theme like mermaid, pirates, etc can drove you to imagine beyond your imagination

I always wanted to own a 1940' style swing bar that played swing music and had professional dancers to teach patrons how to do the dances from that era.

you should maybe do something mystical....like mermaids or liikeeeeee a sea monster

first get a picture of Jophn Lennon who wrote the song "Imagine" and then put everything and anything all around to catch one's eye!!
