I once tried to use the mouse as a phone to talk to a computer that was failing me "hello computer". Though I don't mistake the mouse for a phone or vice versa, maybe you need to work on your vision. Try focusing on lookng at objects which are on the edge of your range of vision, learn to recognise and touch, pick them up and you should see improvement.
though it doesnt really matter does it
