That would suck so bad but what do you think? And if you don't like harry potter, don't waste yours and mostly my time answering this question.

I didn't hear Harry Potter definitely...yet but she was debating that idea to prevent future authors from writing sequels to the book. But even if he does die...I don't think it'll be the end, but if Harry does die, there has to be one other person, cause 2 people were supposed to die. Hopefully, it's Voldemort and Malfoy, or some other evil person...maybe Harry will do the killing!

I took JK off my figurative Christmas Card List when she killed off Sirius Black- my all time favorite character, tied with Remus Lupin. Then she had the gall to say that Snape is now evil (he so isn't- one of the end points of basically every prior book was that he ISN'T evil, no matter how much Harry thinks so). She killed off Dumbledore when he definitely didn't have to die, she put Harry with Ginny (a bone thrown to the fans who HAVEN'T grown up with Harry [those of us who have know that SO wouldn't work]), Ron with Hermione, and Remus and Tonks- what the heck?!!
I like Harry Potter. I love Harry Potter! But as far as I'm concerned, after the last book, it really can't get too much worse, if she kills him. I don't think she will, but I think she'll kill nearly everyone else. Harry's pretty much destined to be miserable... it would suck if he died, but I think it's gonna suck either way is all I'm saying, based on what she's done recently.

That would not suck! Im no harry potter hater, but it would suck if he lived and, as everyone would know already, got married to hermione. Comon harry! Die in the last book! Give us the fight of the year!

It seems quite likely that he will die, as Rowling has said she won't write any more books featuring him. Killing off the principle character usually happens at the end of a series, so the author can have an excuse to not write any more. Occaisionally they're brought back from the dead, sometimes moderately convincingly (Sherlock Holmes) sometimes completely dreadfully (Dallas). So although Harry may well die, it seems unlikely it'll be an unhappy ending, so perhaps he kills Voledemort, then after injuries sustained dies himself. Who knows?

If Harry dies there will be no more Harry Potter movies or books so they will not let him die. Also in the last book he doesn't die and if you want to see it for free go to www.limewire.com than download it and type in Harry Potter 2005. Also this is legal.

I know what you mean. I have been hopping that the three get through school fine and dandy but I have heard that ron gets it in book 6 that I have yet to read.
And now I hear that harry is doomed too. Well I do hope the crew do away with voldermount before they all die off.

If it's written right, it could be a good ending. I'm more attached to a good read than to a character. I think JK Rowling has admitted that "someone big" is going to die in the last book. And it is the last book...
If Dumbledore can die, nothing is sacred.
