I don't think anyone considers ANY of those people heroes!
Some might be considered celebrities, yes, but far from heroes. I think you've seen too many of the celebrity gossip shows, if those are the people you think we respect as heroes. That group of people pretty much embarass most of us.

I think you're confusing sensationalism for hero worship. They are not the same. Heroes are policemen & women, firemen & women,and ordinary people who go out of their way to do extraordinary things to help others. The ones you listed are not heroes by any stretch of the imagination.
