We all know every american has there own views and they will never be the same in most cases. But it looks to me things have gotten so out of control everyones blaming everyone else for all the problems. And they all want it fixed but aren't willing to get off the sidelines and do it. They say 1 person can't make a difference. but if everyone acted as that one person then there would be many.
My question is ....... being this is america and people have rights to and i do respect that fact. should they sit back and shut up if they only want to scream and whine without doing a damn thing to fix the problems. It just looks to me that people that want to scream and yell but not take any real action are abusing there right. I don't mean this to be rude or hateful I'm just expressing my oppinion..
I've tried to be respectfull in my guestioning lets see how the answering goes.......

And by action I mean more than thinking about going and actually doing something about it..

Well, that's fine if you can afford $3.00 a gallon of gas to go out and do whatever you do , however some people can't even afford to buy more than a crappy box of Kraft macaroni for dinner while both parents have jobs.

I believe that going out and discussing (not screaming and whining) your views is doing something. I choose not to listen to people that scream their views without taking the time to listen to mine. I also think that putting people into groups is wrong - Just because I usually vote Dem. doesn't mean I agree with everything they do. It doesn't make me a screaming Liberal. One of my very good friends is Reb. and she and I have very polite "debates" all the time... But I see your point - It's kind of - If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem....

Some of us are doing things to make changes. We treat all people equally and we try to vote for the candidate who we think would do a better job.

I agree with you completely. We do need to do more. I've been trying for a while, but I'm in the middle of "Bush country" and support is hard to find.

you have a point.
i find it sad that only 55.3% of eligible u.s. voters bothered to cast their ballot in the 2004 elections. the level of apathy is appalling. ...or is it that everyone is overwhelmed and feels, as an individual, s/he doesn't count?

I agree w/you as one person can make a difference; if one person acted, many would follow.

Wel people would rather say what's wrong than, how to make it right. Why don't you start listening to your advice and do something.
