Its about 106 not including the heat index in Missouri south of KC. I stay in the AC most of the time, and I swim with the kids some of the time. My house has never been so clean!!!

Now you know what I've been through, these past couple of weeks here in central Wisconsin. We had the same heat, along with the humidity. Add that to a severe drought, with little to no rain in more than two months. My lawn is so dry, it says "ouch" when you step on it! Coping? I coped with my AC turned up, the windows & shades closed and lots of iced tea. I only went outside long enough to water my plants and get to church. But, cheer up, New Yorker, relief is on the way. We had a big thunderstorm last night and it's so very nice outside now. I blew really hard, so you should be getting relief soon! If it doesn't get there in three days....there's always November!! <*)))><

I've never seen snow, and I know it's not hotter over there than in the 305. It's always hot down here. Why don't you pay for air conditioning? You can't afford it? New York sucks. What do you mean about coping with the heat? I shoot the puck left handed, why don't you go to the hockey rink and have fun? You are hot because your blood is too thick and so is your head. What is the matter with you?

Heat is bad throughout most of the entire U.S. The heat index in Nre Orleans has been 100 plus everyday for over a week now. You just have to restrict your outdoor activities, including work, and try to stay cool, or you will literally get heatstroke.

Here's an excellent tip! Place your arms under the faucet and wet them up to your shoulder. Don't dry them, but stay so until you feel like you need another dip.
