I was somewhere between 9 and 11.
OK, I'm not kidding on this one - there was a particular issue of "Ranger Rick's" magazine that had a park ranger or dolphin trainer, some guy in a pool with a dolphin. So "Ranger Rick's" confirmed it for me. :o)
I came out at 20 after going to college and getting some support from others going through the same thing.
The initial reaction from my parents was horrible. But after a while, by the time they saw that I was the same person they loved, things were fine. They just knew more about me now.
Never had a problem with friends except hypocritical bigoted 'christians,' whom I was better off without anyway.

I came out at the age of 20 nearly 21.
My friends were totally cool with it - they all knew really.
My family were a bit iffy but they have come around. At first when I told my mother she said 'well I guess I won't be getting any grandkids off you then'. The next day she wasn't so keen hehe.
I realised I like people of the same sex when I was 11. I wanted to be a journalist and I got totally hooked on Sandra Sully (Aus Journo).
Then I moved onto Gillian Anderson from The X Files. Then I moved onto Gretel Killeen (Aus BIg Bro). Initially I thought I was just looking for a strong role model but then I realised that I liked chicks.

looking back I should have known when I was about 7...I messed around with guys in the neighbourhood when I was about 11 or 12..but everyone did that...I had a breakdown at about 20 or 21 years old..I couldn't really admit to myself that I was gay until I was 24. Then I met a man and the fireworks just exploded! And I've never looked back. I love being gay and who I am. I'm 57 now..this all seems like it happened to somebody else (and I guess in a way it did).
I am completely out now..but my parents died early..before I officially told them.

I was 15 when I accepted I was bisexual. It wasn't until I was 18 that I told my mom about an experience I had with a female friend...she said it was just a phase and she doesn't believe I'm bi. I only told one person in high school, but I'm sure the people that I knew from high school that have seen my myspace know now. I'm more open about it now that I'm in college.

i won't be able to keep in mind a time after I wasn't interested in different men. even as a baby I purely had boys as acquaintances, even with there being quite some women interior the neighbourhood, and that i favored to play with my male cousins quite than the female ones. I keep in mind liking to seem at different boys bodies even as i changed into about 6 or 7, however it changed into even as puberty approached, at about the age of 12 or 13, that i began to experience attracted in route of a few of my acquaintances. This changed into the age even as i began to comprehend that I wasn't instantly. issues began to get complicated even as i changed into about 14, and that i began to word the ladies. the sentiments for the lads remained and that i could not workout what changed into gong on. This changed into over 40 years in the past, and there changed into no information superhighway to seek for suggestion from in lately. human beings reported instantly sex and gay sex, yet no-one ever reported the prospect of liking both, so i presumed i changed into some type of freak. even as i changed into about 18 i got here upon a e book about teenage issues, and chanced on that the word for my sexuality is bisexual. I later proved this to myself by using having sex with men and having sex with females, and playing all of it. i'm now fifty 8, married, and function youthful toddlers. Being bisexual means that when you get right into a courting with someone you should offer up 1/2 of what receives you going sexually, yet in case you stumble on a spouse that you want, and may want to stay with, then you really can do it.
