It is funny how the American President and the EU are pushing the stop of public funds for stem cell research when the public would be the financial and social benificary of such research. Is this an attempt to create and protect a market investment? These things tend to hid behind religious faiths!

Why do you care who funds the research? I think that it would be better for everyone if it was a private venture.

http://www.firstthings.com/ftissues/ft0201/articles/condic.html Would people please read this. There is no guarantee that stem cell would be able to do what they say. It would be a wonderful way to spend tax payers dollars for a complete failure. Then everyone would be oh so mad again.
