heres the thing...my momm and i never really talked about eyeliner and stuff and i know thatt if i ask her, shel'l say NO. but she was totally cool with eye shadow and lip gloss and mascara. thiing is, i know she'll flip if i ask her. how can i get her to let me wear eyeliner?

soccercomple something, no im not persian and that "technique" never happens with my parents. my parents arent so strict. its just that they dont let me do ALOT of stuff that i wanna do

omg! ive been there!! are u persian??!!! all persian parents are SUPER strict about make up. what I did is get my parents in a good mood, wear eyeliner, not to much maybe dark brown to start, anyway, when they ask why ur wearing it, PUPPY FACE AND HUG! PUPPY FACE AND HUG! repeat until u get reasults lol.

put a little on like a light color or something and she probalbly won't notice. Because if you wear mascara it won't really make a difference. But if you don't want to do that or just a little scared of doing it the sit down and ask her. And say well you let me wear mascara so whats the defference if i wear eyeliner? Well i hope it works out for you.

if she lets u use eyeshadow, lip gloss, and mascara, i dont really think that shell flip if u want to start using eyeliner. save up ur money and buy it urself. if she notices and asks, dont make a big deal out of it and just respond that u think it adds a nice touch. if she does flip 4 sum weird reason, tell her ull substitute any other makeup item for the eyeliner. if i were u, i would use eyeliner instead of eyeshadow. to me, eyeshadow is more of a "dress-up" thing. good luck

I am not sure why she would flip, if she lets you wear the others. Some, claims it makes people look older, so that may be why, and others say it can spread germs to the eyes. That is why a lot of people will put it under the eye, instead of on the lower lid. Just let her see you with it on and see what she says.

I would just apply light neutral colors and very light eyeliner. Then I would go and show my mom and aske her what she would think if you started wearing eyeliner. That should work as long as you don't go overboard and it also depends how old you are. My sister is 10 and sometimes my mom lets her wear light colors that barely show, also I do her make up for all important events she has and my mom doesn't mind.

what you have to do is save your money and the next time you go to a store find the eyeliner tha you want go up to your mom and say " Hey mom I've heard that this stuff works great i'm going to buy it okay?" Thats what I did or just buy a makeup kit that 'just happens' to have it in there...Start out with dark brown

ask her why would she let you use all the other make-up and not the eyeliner. if i were you i would just tell her that i would stop using eye shadow and change it for eyeliner because eye shadow is a lil too much wen it comes to jus going out on a daily basis. black or dark brown eyeliner will bring out your eyes.

ok.....since you already wear eye maek-up she sither won't care, won't notice, or both. Now if your like wearing thick thick blck like golth looking eye liner um i could see where she would freak out, but a brwon to black eye liner taht just accents your eyes shouldnt really matter and if you dont want her to know go to the mall with a freinds or go with your mom and meet up with her later. But im pretty sure just asking her would be fine

Just talk to her about it....don't ask if you can. Ask what she thinks about it. Then LISTEN to what she says. Try to present your side in a calm, unchallenging way. Act like you're thinking about what she said, and she's more likely to think about what YOU say. If she's totally against it, ask her when she might consider it ok, or when you can talk about it again. DON'T WHINE. and don't tell her everyone else is using it---that argument NEVER works with Moms.
