Men are hard to understand some time.. my husband don't talk to me and tell me what is going on.. I guess that is part of not telling what your feeling too isn't it.. don't know what to tell you or what to do if you get it figured out let me know so maybe it will work with my husband... Most men were raised that men don't cry so that is part of it..

I think I know what you're trying to ask. American men are conditioned to be strong, hide signs of vulnerability, which our society mistakes as weakness. He's got to provide, be the head of household, fix stuff around the house; he's bigger stronger than you are and must not let you or society down by showing signs of "weakness." It's a shame really. My brothers don't even hug our father. They just shake hands. geez.

Only brave men cry!

Please remember that men and women think differently sometimes His way of showing or not showing his feelings could stem from his upbringing too. You may be a more passionate person than he is. This doesn't mean that he doesn't love you. Be patient with him. Show him your love and feelings by example and in time he will become more like you. But don't nag him or it will mess up your relationship.

Women aren't attracted to men that show feelings, especially those of weakness. So even though men may show more emotion to each other, we learn really quick that women are attracted to robots, and as such maintain a steely facade within their presence.

Real men have to be that way sometimes,,then again you might find one that is worse then us women...lol
They are to proud to let their feelings out, don't matter if your the wife, mother, father, but I bet ya the dog hears it all...lol
They cant...think about it. They have to stay strong and letting their feelings out to a wife, ext. can lead them to be not man enough. I have been with my husband for 11 yrs and I have see him cry 2 times, 1. when his grand father pasted & when we lost our 4th child.
Other then that, you just have to live with it and respect the fact that he wants to be the man of the house and not bother you with things that may be on his mind or someones eles for that fact.
Real men are hard to fine..so if you have a good one, just go with the flow, be thier for him sweetie. Life is to short to worry about him not opening up and telling you his feelings.
God Bless & Good Luck.

Men are usually raised to be strong. Men don't cry type of thing. Which I feel is crap....I raised my son to let him know that he can cry if hes hurt etc....I feel that a man who cant show his feelings is not a man at all.

Its not that he's affraid to show his feelings. he is showing his feelings. It's probably that your reading it wrong. I reccommend the book "The 5 love languages" It shows how people relate to one another through their own language. Unfortunatly it becomes the task of the other person to figure out what that person is saying. But that makes life "fun"
