This is your time to do crazy things and not have to answer to anyone! I change my hair color when I feel like, took dance lessons, On a rainy Saturday I can lay around and read and no one knows. Go for long walks. Take up yoga. Do things you never thought you would - or never thought you had the time to do. Go to the mall to just walk and look at people. Sit in a coffee shop and read the latest best-seller. Someone may want to talk to you about it and you'll have a great time. Don't be afraid of yourself. This is a great time of life!

I'd recommend surrounding yourself with friends and family... it's probably too soon to start dating. If you feel you're ready, take it slow. You might even try Yahoo's Personals... maybe just to correspond and chat. When you're ready to meet in person, be sure it's in a public place where you will feel safe. Also, consider using extra time you feel you have for areas in your life that you may have neglected... like hobbies, sports, clubs, church, etc. Perhaps it's time to read that book you've put off. Maybe now is the time to learn a new musical instrument. It might be fun to take some dance lessons. Enjoy time with yourself.

Enjoy being single! Spend time with your friends (if you don't have any, make some)...take up an old hobby or start a new one...maybe take a class in something you've wanted to learn...volunteer or join a civic group...
There are tons of ways to spend your time and make it fun or productive...although being in a relationship has a lot of kewl points, being single can really be great too...and a good break for us to refocus, relearn about who we are, what we want out of life, etc...

Scan a copy of you divorce papers and make them the desktop for your computer.
Make one of those body signs that people wear for storefronts...you know the kind that has a sign in front and a sign in back...print the divorce decree on both sides and parade up and down your block wearing nothing but that.
Label all your stuff as "yours" and "used to be his"
Get some of his friends to brag how good you were in bed.
Make a list of things smaller than his penis and find only 2 or 3 things to put on it.
Start dating again :D

Try online dating, read a book you're always wanted to read, play a MMORPG, take up a cool sport, join a medieval re-enactment organization... Just some of the things I used to do when I was single. It was fun. Good luck!

What did you do before you got married or whatever. At least some of the old things must still appeal to you. You should try to get out and circulate a bit so you don't become too withwrawn.

Go take some classes or some type of course that will enrich your life, you'll feel more positive with each accomplishment. Try the C.E.R.T. program for one idea.
