help me in my project please!?

I need help please
my project in my university is an argument program
it contain 4 people presenter, someone with the idea ,another one against and the last one in the middle

our topic is:
"Some people believe that success in life comes from taking risks or chances. Others believe that success results from careful planning."

I'm a presenter of our program and I need some questions and points to argue.

Firstly, I think the middle way has by far the easiest position - as I feel most people do a mixture of the two!

R = risk
P=planning

R: Do you believe in insurance?

P: Do you go out for the evening on the spur of the moment?

R: Do you plan your essays?

P: What would you do if something unexpected happened and spoiled all your plans?

R: What do you think does need careful planning

P: What do you think is worth a risk

R: Do you think people would loan you the money for a project if you had not worked out how the money would be used before you started

P: Do you think any company would start up if people did not take a risk in the first place?

I cannot think of any questions for the middle way! Good luck!

Risks can be calculated risks where they know lots of facts and have experience in that area. Planned riskes have resources to fall back on or a second choice to put in motion if the 1st fails.These 2 can be arguments for each side if you put them at the right spot. Remember the hare and turtle, the hare took risks and failed but the turtle stayed on task and kept working hard and won. Risks are good but you have to be in a stable position to be able to suffer the neg. consequence and still be able to push on toward the goal. Best wishes.

i am a firm believer that you get from life what you put into it. careful planning will only get you so far in life. you can never account for everything that will happen. it is often necessary to take risks to achieve great things. i am pretty sure that Einstein took a massive risk when he announced his theory of relativity. if he was wrong then he would be finished, no one would take him seriously ever again. the same can be said for Charles Darwin and his theory of evolution. throughout history people have had to take great personal risks to achieve their success, careful planning wouldn't have achieved half as much as risk.

how can you say that risks and chances have anything to do with success when the 90% of gamblersare worse off after a day inthe bookies.

i find that taking a chance in life to see where it gets you is a great way of being successfull i have done it many time how do you know if somehting will or wont work unless you try it out right? you just have to have a back up plan incase you fail from your trial. i would ask what reasons support there answer. and what avenue they would take to get there. and i would also ask what there viewpoint is on it as well as what is success to them we all have different imput on this and differnt ways of thinking,.

i think people do take the risk without thinking , but could also fail wihout careful thinking or planning if u like . discussing plans with other people can be a bonus has these other people can give u good ideas u never thought of
