They got bored here and went off to find other beings in the galaxy that don't spend a lot of time trying to blow each other up.

The aliens stopped visiting this planet because too many people have cameras now (on their cell phones, etc.) and they afraid somebody might actually get a good picture of their spaceships. The corollary, of course, is that with all the cameras around these days, you'd think we would be getting some good photos of aliens...assuming they are visiting us. Instead, it's always the same old fuzzy lights in the sky. Get a clue, people.

They didn't want to be pulled into a war so they left in a hurry to a more peacful planet for a vacation, If I remember rightly they said Venus.
