My best friend at LSU had a sister named Saturday. She looked more like Monday Morning to me.

They're not the worst names but it makes you wonder what Frank Zappa was smoking as he named his kids Moon Unit, Dweezel and Ahmed.
Oh, and Gary, his daughter is Moon Unit.

You ready for this one? A college friend of mine got pregnant with twins after blowing a dijeridoo (australian tube trumpet-like-thing). According to the myth if a pregnant woman blows a dijeridoo (sp?) she will have twins. So what does she name the two boys? Dijeri and Kevron(?????). I think he's probably gonna go with something like "Jerry" when he gets older but Daaaayaaaammmnnnn!

When I was a teacher I had a student named Random Leigh.
And there's a little girl in my daughter's preschool class named Pumpkin. That's the name on her birth certificate, folks. PUMPKIN!!!

It would have to be Soleil Moon Frye.She was the girl who played Punky Brewster.What were her parents thinking naming her something that sounds like your ordering something off a Chinese menu.

In college, this girl introduced herself as "Sunshine". I actually snickered and asked if she had a sister named "Rainbow", and then I realized she was serious! Apparently it was a pet nickname her father gave her and she'd had it legally changed to her name!

I'm totally serious about this one....a couple who lived up the street from my grandparents named their newborn twins Gonorrhea and Syphilis. No joke, they said the names "sounded pretty".

There was some girl in high school named Lesbiana (I swear)! I thought it was a typo in the yearbook til I actually saw her in person and asked her!

My niece's name is Karamiya. She's caucasion and was born in 1963 - AND her folk's did not do drugs. Figure that one out!
