tanning in general helps stretch marks look less noticeable, but I dont' think they fade them. You could also use self tanning lotion so you don't age your skin with tanning beds or from the sun.

When your tan fades, your stretch marks will still be there. Tanning doesn't make them go away, just less noticeable for a bit.

tanning helps them blend in more, but if you're going to tan you better do it in the sun and not in the salon because you have a 50% more of a chance of getting skin cancer in the tanning bed than in the actual sun.

my sisters stretch marks would turn redder after tanning then go back to normal but her stretch marks wouldnt really hold a tan so they would always be lighter then her tanned skin.

Doesn't help at all! The strech marks are lighter anyway!Strech marks are rupters of the 6th layer of the derm, so maybe a tanning cream can cover them like a make-up tool!

To some degree but it really doesn't make them go away or anything. It really just blends the two colors together. It's kinda weird because your stretchmarks will actually get sun burned and your regular skin does not.
