Well you know that faith is all you have. And you just need to wait.
I'm sure in do time what ever you are praying for will be answered. And well think about what you are asking for. The lord works in mysterious ways. God is so great and there are time when we as ppl need to really think about what it is that we are asking for, and well if it just doesn't happen well then there is a reason for everything. Only he knows when is the right time for what and for whom. I wish you the best and God Bless.

Like you I have been praying for something in particular off and on for years, if it is meant for you to have whatever you are praying for, you will get it/happen. Continue to pray, keep faith, and do not give up. There is no right way to pray, just be sincere about it and the prayer will go to the right person. We as humans want a "now" solution, but sometime that one solution that you need comes later when you least expect it.

Hope everything works out for you.

you see, prayer doesn't happen right away, if your praying for love there are alot of things that God has to change in order for love to be able to take place, maybe He has to change you and mold you. If its like a house, He must bring the money in...but without faith, nothing pleases God so if you don't have faith to back up what your praying for then it might not come to past...everything has a time and a place for entering your life. Never stop believing in what you want, and at the very least it can motivate you to get what you need to be done to get what your praying for.

All prayers are not answered. There is no guarantee that yours ever will. You have to have faith and believe in God first. Even so this particular prayer may not get the outcome you desire.
You must continue to do all you can yourself to get what you are praying for. This way the heavenly father can help you. In most cases you can't just totally leave it up to him.
This is complicated and very difficult to understand. Continue to have faith, try and live your life being a good person, follow the golden rule and even if this prayer is not answered, many, many others will be.

Praying is one thing, common sense is another. Nothing is ever going to change if you do nothing but sit and pray about it, you can do that in conjunction with doing something for yourself. On the other hand if you are praying for something that just isn't going to happen (like and ex coming back to you) then you aren't using common sense and are simply holding yourself back from moving on. And another thing to consider, maybe the 'answer to your prayers' isn't really what is good for your life and so no answer is the best answer you could get, think about it.

only you can change a situation, praying will do nothing, its the most passive aggressive thing you could do, its a way to blame someone else for not getting done what you should have worked on yourself. Figure out a way to change the situation or whatever it is you need help with and then do it, if its about someone else doing something differently than there is nothing you can do about it, as you can;t make other people change.

O.K. so I'm probably gonna draw some fire for this answer, but so be it.

Prayer alone isn't going to get you what you want. You are the only one that can get the things that you want. Some prayers just don't get answered no matter how hard you pray or work for them.

Learn to rely on what YOU can do about it. When it's all said and done, you're the only one you can count on.

Accept it.

Naenae4570 has given you the best answer I agree 100%
If you pray for heavenly father to lead you in the path that he knows is best for you (only he knows the future) then you must be willing to accept his guidance, always remember that heavenly father wants only the best for us all and some times we must go thru the pain in order to find the blessings. Not everything can be easy sometimes it does hurt but always keep your faith and allow the light of god to be your guide, it helps to keep your faith if you are around others that believe as you do, seek out the strength of your church family and if you don't go or haven't been in a while, please do they will help see you through the rough times!! after all isn't that what family is all about.

You don't know. Only the future can tell the difference between faith and presumption.

Talk to your clergyperson or a fellow believer about this. They may give you additional insight.

Also, while you pray, take a little time to stop and listen to see if you can perceive what God is telling you.

Easy-there is no God so no one will answer your prayer. Instead of waisting any more time act upon it and make it possible to happen for whatever you are praying. If you don't take steps to achieve whatever you ar praying for no one else will.
