can someone name me a lot of genre's please, genre's as in newspaper article, diary, manual, script, play, song......

Genre: A category of literary forms (novel, lyric poem, epic, for example).

Newspaper articles, manuals, and scripts are not "genres", sweetie. They're simply different forms of literature, and any of them could be split into multiple genres. A Genre would be like... horror, romance, sci-fi, drama, comedy, etc.

Those aren't "gebres" they're formats of litereature or different media. If you can't even understand your homework, maybe you should rethink the class.
