Refurbished... something was ever so slightly wrong with it before it left the factory and they fixed it. I've had two refurbs and no problems.

The phone was returned for some reason. The business refurbished it which can mean anthing form checking, repairing or just packing it up and sell it. Surprisingly, I have had some
good luck with refurbished items as usually it means someone has at least had a look at it to be sure it works. This is more than can be said for new items. There should be some sort of warranty which may be the same as a new phone.

"refurb" is short for "refurbished". A refurbished phone is one that may have been used, or may have failed quality control, and has been cleaned and fixed by the manufacturer. They are supposed to be as good as a new phone, but are sold for less. Some refurbished products carry the same warranty as new, some have a shorter warranty period.

it's a refurbished phone. The phone was used by someone and returned. They send the phone back to the manufacturer to be restored to original condition. They usually carry the normal warranty.

Refurbished. It means it's a used phone that was returned to them So they cleaned it up, called it 'refurbished' and they're selling it at a discount.
