I did once.. making my way on to the highway I hit a ditch, tried to turn one way then the other and found myself doing a complete 180 spin into the highway which I had absolutely no control over. Fortunely noone was coming at that exact moment. I managed to pull away from the road and just then an 18 wheeler wooshed past. Seemed like everything was in slow motion, but all I remember is how much I realized I was not in control whatsoever.

Yes I did. I was in Las Vegas by myself for a trade show. I didn't feel very well but put it off to having a long day. I wasn't hungry. I felt a bit nausious so I went to my room to try to get some sleep. I started feeling worse so I called the desk to see if I could get some help. It turned out that I was having a heart attack. When the paramedics showed up, they took over completely and I had absolutely no control over my life until I was out of surgery. For me, things seemed to speed up though not slow down like they did for you. It felt like only a few minutes from the time I called the desk until I woke up in the recovery room. It was actually a few hours.

Been there, done that! Watching my husband in a dying process gives you that same helplessness. Delivering my son was that same no choice feeling. Watching a similar experience as yours that did not turn out well as I was truck driving and the first one on the scene as a trained responder, pulling glass and holding pressure points to stop blood loss, and sitting in a car with a young woman who was obviously suffering and broken in many places, when all was over left me with that same feeling. Few things shake me up and I was recognized for my efforts as a Red Cross Responder of Excellent Courage and Knowledge, but I still wonder what ever become of that young woman with three children who only wanted her husband to know she was sorry for wrecking the car! There are always going to be out of control moments in life - they are our wake ups that life has more to offer than just this physical being - that there is a spiritual aspect we must tend to as well. I'm glad you are able to look back upon your experience.

Congratulations, your first encounter behind the matrix.
Truly none of us are in control; it's an illusion. I wonder if the people with the most power in the world are most out of touch with the reality of this concept.

Every day of my life. Control is just an illusion, we really have no control over anything but, our perception of the situation.

Yeah, it started when I was about six years old. I don't let it oppress me none.
