I'd say A Clockwork Orange. Full Metal Jacket was pretty good too though.

Oh gee, this is such a hard one. I absolutely love Full Metal Jacket. The basic training was great. Using R. Lee Ermey as the DI was a brilliant idea, as he had been in the Marine Corps. It was so hard to believe that Vincent D'Onofrio could play Private Pyle so well. Now I see him on Law and Order:CI and I do not wonder anymore. He is good at oddball characters. It is a great movie.
Dr. Strangelove would have be #2 on my list. I just love the casting of Peter Sellers. He was so brilliant playing 3 different charaters. I cannot even pick which one would be the funniest. George C. Scott was so funny in this movie, it was hard to believe that he could have pulled off the role of Patton. He was a talented actor. Slim Pickens riding the bomb down to the ground has got to be the best shot in movie history.
Stanley Kubrick was a geius or mad man depending who want to believe. He knew how to pick the right people for his films.

That's a tough one. I'm gonna go with Full Metal Jacket, and A Clockwork Orange as a close second.

I enjoyed Full Metal Jacket most, especially basic training, and I don't really like Clockwork Orange for the storyline as much as the visuals. His worst was Eyes Wide Shut, also his last ...

A Clockwork Orange was ahead of its time with its graphic looks on the future and with who was running it (or ruining it). I agree with you there.
The Shining is another one of my favorites from the great Mr. Kubrick. I understand that Stephen King did not like that version of it, so, in the late 90's (or was it when the new Millennium got here?) he remade The Shining and had Stephen Webber from Wings portray Jack's character and, I think, Rebecca DeMornay in the Shelley DuVall's character. Was not as good. And the ending was totally different (though S.K. said that was more to the book and how he saw the real ending to be.)
So, those two works by Stanley Kubrick is my favorite.

Lolita
Kubrick went to England to make Lolita in 1962, and would reside there for the rest of his life. The film caused Kubrick's first major controversy. The book, which dealt with a love affair between a middle-aged man and a twelve year old girl, was already notorious when Kubrick embarked on the project, and the difficulty of the subject matter would eventually be mocked in the film's ad campaign, which consisted of the tag line: "How did they ever make a film of Lolita?" Vladimir Nabokov, the book's author, produced a three hundred page screenplay which Kubrick abandoned. The final screenplay was, reportedly, penned by Kubrick himself. Despite changing Lolita's age to a more acceptable sixteen (changing her from a pre-pubescent to a teenager), several scenes which made their way into the final film had to be re-edited in order for the film to be released. The result was a film that toned down the more perverse aspects of the novel, sometimes leaving much to the audience's imagination. The actress who played Lolita, Sue Lyon, was sixteen at the time of filming. Kubrick later commented that, had he realized how severe the censorship limitations were going to be, he probably never would have made the film. However, Kubrick always spoke highly of James Mason, who played the pedophile Humbert Humbert in the film, and would later mark him as one of the actors he most enjoyed working with. Lolita was also the first time Kubrick worked with British comic Peter Sellers, a collaboration which would prove one of the most successful of Kubrick's early career.
