I have carmel colored skin, but my stretch marks are lighter than my skin. Im a dancer and i stretch alot so i am assuming that that is the reason i have them. Everyone else seems to have stretch marks that are red, or darker than their skin. I heard cocoa butter helps to get rid of them, but is there somethin better for people with lighter stretch marks, or does it not matter? Are they the same even though they are light?

There is really no miracle cure for stretch marks, There are different reasons for stretch marks. It sounds as though yours may be caused by a growth spurt. The skin stretches and sometimes unfortunately, leaves light colored stretch marks. You may want to try cocoa butter or something with cocoa butter in it. I would use lotion, the ointment will make you feel greasy. There are other skin remedies that you can purchase over the counter. Some people use olive oil products for the skin. Like Oil of Olay Body Quenchers. You could ask the pharmacist. They are most helpful.

I thought most people's stretch marks were slightly lighter than their skin. I have some, and I am caramel colored as well, mine are lighter. I have used cocoa butter, and it does work somewhat. I'm not sure you'll be able to get ride of them, but they will fade.
