Probably the scariest freakin' movie I ever saw was a movie from the 1970's called "Burnt Offerings" .... You and the girls watch this, and you'll be having nightmares for weeks. Hell, you may even need therepy. It's that good....

High Tension will make you all cringe, very creepy gross
Older ones like Wrong Turn (I promise you, you will LOVE HIgh Tension, I could not stand watching it!)

Oh, I forgot the snack. It's summer, some fresh fruit, like grapes, strawberries, pineapple, with chunks of good sharp cheddar cheese and Wheat Thins or Triscuts. Don't cook anything, keep it cold and have less to clean up. If you want something sweet, maybe some chocolate dip (found in the fruit area, in a little tub) for the fruit.

Here are some great scary movie ideas:
-Texas Chainsaw Massacre (the original one is especially creepy in my opinion!)
-The Ring/The Ring 2
-The Grudge
-Saw
-The Silence of the Lambs
-The Exorcist
-The Exorcism of Emily Rose
-Jaws
-Any of the "Chuckie" movies
-The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (I've never seen it, but I've heard it's a classic
-Thirteen (It's actually more intense than scary though)
-Dark Water
-House of Wax
-Any of the Scream movies

Also, soo that nobody loses sleep over the scary movies, it's always good to rent a comedy to end the night with. I highly suggest any Adam Sandler movie, or the Scary Movie series..they make fun of actual scary movies.

As for snacks, have a variety:
-chips + salsa
-oreos, chocolate chip cookies, sugar cookies
-cupcakes
-carrots/veggies + ranch
-lots of candy-gummy worms, lollipops
-ice cream

If you want your snacks to go along with the scary movie theme, here are two ideas:
1. In chocolate pudding or any type of jello, mix in gummy worms!
2. Buy powdered donut holes, red icing, life savers (preferably the gummy kind), and chocolate chips. Glue on the life saver to the donut hole with icing, and then glue the chocolate chip in the center of the life saver. Use the rest of the icing to draw squiggly lines coming out of the donut hole eye, making it look extra creepy!

Wicker Man.

Ghost Actress

Evil Dead

The Sentinel

The village is not scary and is a farce to incite violence in the insane. !00's of people have been hurt do to an adverse reaction of having witnessed one of the worst and over hyped movies of all time.

some that i have liked are boogeyman, hide and seek, the grudge, and the ring 1 and 2 of course. gotta love samara. ;) some of my favs.

my ultamite favorite scary movie is Rose Red. it's around 5 hours long so you could save yourself from buying 2 and just get that 1 lol. It's by stephen king, and is the story of these psychics that go into a house to "wake it up" b/c its haunted/possesed and eats ppl. i LOVE it and have seen it many many times. never gets old.
