For what reasons would a web-site show a page saying "this site has been closed due to abuse"!!!?

We booked airline tickets via www.just-fares.com and have just looked to see if they are confirmed and the page doesn't load, only says 'closed due to abuse" Is this a internet scam?

Probably for the same reason that someone like you would choose to put this question into this category:
Travel > United States > Detroit

Because they can!!!
