Got a friend right? and weve been hangin out for bout a year now.. ok. he smokes and drinks and he just turned 17. I personally dont smoke or drink. He is very tempted to do what other people tell him to do. So he would just smoke and drink just to make other people happy. What should I do?

Hey man, that person which u are talking about, wants to be in the center of attention. That's why he's doing those things. You know, that smoking kills, and maybe he does too, but he doesn't realize it. I would recommend that if he is a BEST friend, than u should tell him these things. If he doesen't quit smoking or drinking, u should sepparate a while. Be rough on him. If he still doesn't quit, bye-bye.

Your pal does want aid, is there a mental well being workplace close you, a county one? It is vitally clear she would not need the child however harming her self to get rid of the little one is awful. Have anybody speak to her about adoption might be? At least a isea of a door for her. She rather wants to communicate to a therapist and if in case you have a county intellectual health near you it will fee very little to nothing for her to communicate to anybody in a "riskless place" proper now no where is safe for her, please do not take offence that that it is just the place he mind is. If individuals are riding her like mad right now it is going to make it worst. She is drinking due to the fact that the ache and the issues go away then, nevertheless when it wars off it hits her in the face again but just a little more difficult every time. How does the boyfriend consider? Does he want the youngster? That could be a massive a part of her stress he desires it but she don't, that's rough on any relationship. But one that that may be very primary she needs to understand the two of you might be both on her aspect, for her exceptional curiosity so she doesn't suppose like the 2 of you're ganging up on her. If you happen to get her to speak just listen, do not ad your suggestion or beliefs to be able to make her consider what is the use you do not appreciate. Ask her what she needs and present to support her get that that factor, if adoption is it then support her with the entire small print. Along with your aid and love tell her that there ae open adoption the place the birth mother is continually in some way around and will get pix and ect. My best buddy had to provide her son up 6 years in the past and he or she visits him a couple of instances a year and will get pics and phone calls, she feels very glad along with her descion. That probably a way on your buddy to go and she can see over time the little one grow and be joyful. Do some reasearch on the internet on planned dad or mum hood and open adotions. Your friens would stop the ingesting and all if the stress that's on her shoulders proper now was once gone. There are so many approaches out there for her and the support she needs. Just right good fortune

No, b-cuz I am a real friend, I would do all that I could to help that person. And them being tempmted is actually kind of a bonus. Because If you do the right thing and set ur own trend, Then he/she will more than likely follow you if you are being a good example. And if he/she was truly YOUR friend, they would take your advice and try to change their wrong to right, yano?

depends on what kind of friend u are. U don't have to do the same things as your friend to accept the way they are in the things they do.
the only reason I'd drop a friend that does stuff that I don't do is if they get me involved invouluntarily into their crap, like bringing peeps to my house that would steal from me or sumthing like that.
I guess it would also depend on what u have invested in that person. do they do right by u? do they respect where u r coming from and not bring around peeps that u don't approve of for your lifestyle?
It would also depend on your definition of a friend I guess.

I think you need to rephrase your question. Now are you asking if someone if YOU should drop a friend because they smoke and drink and that YOU are tempted to do what their doing? Well, i personally have friends who still smoke and drink, but i dont let them do that around me, if it bothers you tell them.

No, if someone is a loyal friend, that's all that really matters. A true friend should never be judgmental. One of the best things about having a friends is being able to talk to them with out them being a drag about it.

No, because if they're that susceptible to peer pressure then they obviously need a level-headed friend like you in their life. If you really had their best interest at heart you'd allow them to explore and make mistakes - be there to talk to them when they need it, judgment free and without saying "I told you so".

yes, but take into consideration that the person may not be able 2 help it. some people, when they get around others, act like that person they are around. its like they take in a little of that person/people.
